Highlights of the Trade Fair Appearance

cunova used AISTech 2024 to showcase innovations such as the WAVE and CV Cooling Mould Design. These advanced technologies contribute to the further development of the industry by significantly increasing efficiency and precision in production. A particular highlight of our stand was the live demonstration of lightwave technology. This exhibit attracted numerous visitors and provided an insight into cunova's performance and innovative strength. In steel production, mould systems have made great strides in introducing high-tech solutions to optimise the casting process. These new technologies, such as FBG (Fibre Bragg Grating Systems) temperature monitoring, provide a much better insight and understanding of the complex solidification process in the mould. The FBG technology works hand in hand with cunova's optimised cooling concepts to meet the highest quality standards.
Our extensive service portfolio also took centre stage. We offer comprehensive services for continuous casting systems - from the tundish to the cutting torch. In addition to new components, cunova also offers the recoating of used moulds and the reconditioning of rolls, clamping devices and bearing housings. And thanks to our broad network of agents, our service extends beyond national borders.

Networking and Business Development

Thomas Kelly, Chief Sales Officer of cunova Service USA, said: ‘This year's show exceeded all my expectations and was by far our best show yet.’ He emphasised the importance of effective communication and technical expertise in winning new customers. Tom Beyer, Head of Sales for Mould Tubes, added: ‘Many customers and other attendees visited the booth and had questions about the products. The North American market is at a very high technical level. It's great to see that customers are interested in maintaining or even intensifying their interaction with cunova.’

Our presence at AISTech 2024 led to numerous new business contacts.
