2. Information on the Collection of Personal Data
Visiting the Website When using our website for informational purposes only (i.e. if you do not send us any data), we collect only the data your browser transmits to our web server. The following information is automatically collected:

The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest is to ensure the continuous and secure operation of our website. Technical usage data on the web server is stored only temporarily for the duration of the website session.
Contact via Contact Form, Email, or Telephone If you contact us via the contact form, email, or telephone, the information you provide (e.g. title, name, email address, and message content) will be transmitted to us (encrypted where possible) and stored. This contact is entirely voluntary.
Data is processed solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry. The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest lies in properly handling and responding to your enquiries.
If necessary to respond to your enquiry, your information may be forwarded to relevant departments within the cunova group under Article 28 GDPR (data processing agreement) and/or Article 6(1)(f), Recital 48 GDPR (legitimate interest).
Your data will not be used or shared beyond this scope unless required under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation).
We will store your data only for as long as necessary to process your enquiry or as required by legal retention obligations.
3. External Service Providers/Data Recipients
On the basis of Article 28 GDPR, we use external service providers for IT system administration, website maintenance, and operational support.
These providers are carefully selected, bound by confidentiality, and may only use your data as required to fulfil their contract with cunova.
4. Cookies/Technical Tools
Our website uses cookies in some areas. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser, provided that you have enabled cookies.
Cookies cannot directly identify individuals and do not contain personal data. They do not damage your device or contain viruses.
Technically Necessary Cookies/Tools We use cookies and similar tools that are technically necessary to operate our website and certain functions. A list of cookies and their purposes and retention periods is available in our consent tool.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), provided they are necessary for the website's operation. Our interest lies in making our services user-friendly, efficient, secure, and compliant.

Google Analytics 4
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to tailor our website content to users’ needs. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Google Analytics is a service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). We have a data processing agreement with Google Ireland Limited. Where personal data is transferred to the USA, Google Ireland and Google LLC rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR).
Google Analytics uses cookies stored on your device to analyse website use. Data generated by these cookies is transferred to Google. According to Google, IP addresses are not logged or stored.
Google Analytics uses AI and custom rules to enrich and model data, for instance to estimate conversions when data is insufficient.

Data is primarily processed by Google to analyse usage, compile reports, and provide services. Google may use the data to create user profiles and combine it with other user information (e.g. search history, personal accounts, device usage).
Data may also be shared with Google partners and stored on servers in the USA. There is a risk that US authorities may access this data under US law, and an adequate level of protection cannot be fully guaranteed.
Data transferred to Google is automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has expired is deleted monthly.

5. Marketing/Advertising
If you have previously shared your email address with us as part of a business relationship and have not opted out of promotional emails, we may send you emails about similar products or services under Section 7(3) German UWG.
You have the right to object to promotional emails at any time under Article 21 GDPR. Please email us or use the unsubscribe function in the email.
Processing and storage duration depends on your contract and statutory retention periods.
SalesViewer Technology With your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (marketing cookies), we use SalesViewer technology by SalesViewer GmbH to collect and store data for marketing, market research, and optimisation purposes.
A JavaScript-based code collects company-related data using a one-way hashing function. The data is pseudonymised and not used to identify individual users.
SalesViewer processes the following data: (1) Referrer URL (2) Company name, origin, and industry (3) Visit duration (4) Usage data (5) Date and time of visit (6) Screen resolution (7) File, image, or content download actions (8) User ID (9) IP address (10) Browser information (11) Device information (12) Geographical location (13) Keywords (14) Subpages visited
6. Security
We implement technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorised access. These measures are continuously reviewed and adapted.
We use TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption. You can recognise this by "https://" in your browser address bar and a closed padlock icon.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to request information about your personal data under Article 15 GDPR. If your data is incorrect or incomplete, you may request correction (Article 16 GDPR). You may request deletion (Article 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), and data portability (Article 20 GDPR). You may object to processing under Article 21 GDPR.
