cunova GmbH has been awarded the BSFZ seal by the German Certification Body for Research Grants (Bescheinigungsstelle Forschungszulage – BSFZ). This officially confirms that our development projects are recognised as eligible research activities – a significant milestone for our commitment to technology and innovation.

The recognised research topics are wide-ranging: they include new approaches to water-cooled components for the melting and casting industry, innovative fastening concepts, and material developments that may be used in the future in specialised industrial or even aerospace applications. cunova is also working on ways to achieve more uniform temperature control in continuous casting processes to further enhance process stability.

This award demonstrates that we are not only developing solutions for today’s industrial challenges – we are actively driving new ideas and technologies that will create long-term value for our customers and partners.

What is the BSFZ seal?

The BSFZ assesses whether companies perform genuine research and thus meet the criteria for the German R&D tax incentive programme. The seal confirms that our projects contribute to technological progress and provide new impulses for advancing industrial innovation.
